Required qualifications
Qualification of applicants

Admission requires a bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biological sciences, or related fields. The program is also open to students from various backgrounds in science such as biochemistry, chemistry, biology, zoology, plant sciences, genetics, general sciences, chemical engineering, food technology, biotechnology, pharmacology, medical technology, public health, marine sciences, and environmental sciences.

Applicants must have an English score (TOEFL or IELTS or CU-TEP). The minimum English scores for admission are 30 (CU-TEP), 3 (IELTS), 400 (TOEFL PBT), 97 (TOEFL CBT), and 32 (TOEFL iBT). However, students who are admitted with minimum scores require additional English language coursework.
